Around 10 'teenage clothed boys' are said to have turned up on a 'normal day' - and began staring at the naked sunbathers.
After they walked among the group of mostly women in the nude zone on La Teste-de-Buch in Arcachon in the West of France, they were challenged and asked to strip.
Fists started flying when they refused - and it's claimed by France Bleu Radio “acted provocatively” by pestering the naked women.
The Sud Ouest newspaper said the youths were “staring” at the naked girls – in clear breach of France’s nude beach etiquette.
Media outlet The Local reported their behaviour prompted other beach-goers to confront the men - telling them to either “get naked or get lost”.
The row escalated into a fight of the clothed versus unclothed.

Several punches were thrown, insults were hurled - and sand was flung in people’s eyes.
A unit of the riot control CRS police is reported to have raced onto the beach in a four-wheeler vehicle to calm the scene.
Two of the gang, both reportedly from nearby Bordeaux, were apprehended by police after allegedly attempting to flee the scene.
They were later freed as it's said the police investigation continues.
