The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, has said the
72-year old mother of Samson Siasia who was kidnapped in Bayelsa on Tuesday
will soon regain her freedom. The police boss mentioned that, the woman would
have been freed if not for the terrain her abductors operated from. He said;
“The police are working to ensure that the woman is released
as soon as possible. The difficulty we had initially is the terrain in that
area. Mostly, abductors come through the riverine areas but we are working and
overcoming that and I can assure you that she will be released very soon.”
