A collision between a bus and a car has killed 32 people in
Osizweni, KwaZulu, South Africa today. According to reports, 32
people have died and four others were injured. Paramedics are however still on
the scene treating victims. The cause of accident is still unknown.
South Africa is notorious for road carnages, which claim
more than 1,000 lives per month, causing huge social and economic losses.
Road crashes cost South Africa 300 billion rand (about 21
billion U.S. dollars) per annum in direct and indirect costs, according to the
Ministry of Transport.
