The inaugural African Health Now (AHN) “Gift of Life” Cocktail Benefit held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Chelsea Piers’ Sunset Terrace in New York City.
The event was held to honor three, diverse professionals for their philanthropic commitments to the African community including.
Contemporary African artist of the 21st century Wangechi Mutu received the Humanitarian award; award winning marketing executive for Apple/I-Tunes Bozoma Saint John receives the Leadership award and international podiatric surgeon Dr. Samuel F. Quartey, DPM, PC, received the Health Advocate award.
The
“Gift of Life” Cocktail Benefit was an evening hosted by African Health
Now’s committed Board of Directors with music by celebrity DJ D-Nice, exclusive silent auction, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Inaugural
“Gift of Life” Cocktail Benefit proceeds will support AHN’s 2016-17
programming and will be the seed funding for African Heath Now’s
first-ever Mobile Clinic with goals to deploy in 2018.
