Forgive the cliché. But it is true. All roads lead to the Muson Center and Freedom Park on the 30th of Oct and the 31st, as the Lagos International Poetry Festival hosts a one of a kind two day concert tagged: Borderless Words: The Concert.
Borderless Words
will featuring some of the best spoken word talent from across the world
including Inua Ellams (UK), Lebo Mashile
(SA), Titilope Sonuga, Sage Hasson, Dike Chukwumerije, Natalia Moletbatsi (SA),
Nick Makoha (UK), Wana Udobang and a host of other amazing voices, with music
by Nomoreloss, Aduke, Falana Music and a special guest.
The
concert, which is part of the series of events marking the Lagos International
Poetry Festival, will hold at the Muson Center on the 30th of Oct.
from 7pm and at Freedom Park on the 31st of Oct. from 7pm. A ticket
of 3,000 naira gives you access to both shows. Pretty exciting stuff.
