Every year in Houston, Texas, USA, a popular hub for many Nigerian families, students and stars, the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) presented by Pem Offshore, gathers many of Nollwood’s greatest for an entertaining awards show.
On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the 2015 edition was hosted by AY, and featured a special performance by our 2015 GIAMA Song of the Year artist – Korede Bello, for ‘Godwin’.
The 2015 GIAMA Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Clarion Chukwurah by Nollywood prolific director Lancelot Imaseun.
Special guests included Alex Ekubo, Rita Dominic, Jim Iyke, Eniola Badmus, Pascal Atuma, Korede Bello, Big Brother Africa’s Melvin,
Moses Inwang, YAW, Seyi Brown, Jedi, Belinda Effah, Anita Chris, James
Costello, Okey Ezugwu, Bianka Johnson, Dr. Kulah, Tangi Miller, Moses
Efret, Chuks Ajoku, Wowo Boyz, and several others.
