The energetic and goal-getter, as he described himself, apart from having a church, boasts of a nursery and secondary schools. He recently floated a College of Education in Otta, Ogun State, and according to him, he hopes to establish a university in Otta very soon, a process he has already started in that regards. Bishop Tom Samson also has companies and hospitals run by him. Over 200 people are under employment in these organizations.
At 47, the man of God, while answering question from journalists in Lagos on Thursday, disclosed that he’s happy for all what God has given to him, but hopes to continue to affect humanity as he has always done.
Reacting to a question thrown to him by Nigeriafilms.com, Bishop Tom Samson explained that some people get the wrong perception of him because of his kind of person.
According to the revered preacher, prophet and educationist, “when people don’t see you relate with them as they want, they say different things about you. I am always on-the-go, which makes people to think I am a strange person.
“I love passion for my vision and goals and I am not lazy to get them. I go extra mile to achieve my set goals.”
Speaking on the challenges he has faced since he started winning souls for God, the philanthropist disclosed that people have always been his major challenge. He explained that not everybody quickly key into his vision but noted that he has learnt how to deal with such issues.
Nigeriafilms.com gathered that Bishop Tom Samson will kick off his birthday celebration with a one-week long event which runs from December 8 to 15, 2013. The activities will hold at Airport Hotel, Lagos.
He will also commission his 100 hectares of land for the Royal City, located in Iyesi, Otta, Ogun State. At the city, on December 14, 2013, which is his birthday, different men of God, politicians, captains of industries and others will gathered to celebrate Bishop Tom Samson, while a thanksgiving service will hold the next day.
