A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Chief
Ovie Onoriode, has said that for the party to emerge stronger from
internal crises, it must consider replacing its National Chairman, Chief
John Odigie- Oyegun with the outgoing Edo State governor, Comrade Adams
Oshiomhole, noting that the latter will provide an acceptable
leadership in the party.
Onoriade, in a chat with Vanguard,
also said that it was wrong for Oyegun to have said that he would do
anything to ensure that President Muhammadu Buhari was re-elected in
2019, describing the remark as distractive. He said: ‘’It is against the
ideals of the party for the National Chairman to openly shut the door
this early against other aspirants.”
