Pregnant for a Married Man! ‘Maria’ from EbonyLife Film’s FIFTY Needs Your Help

Omoni-Oboli-400x600
                                  Omoni Oboli as ‘Maria’

Help me please! I’m in a bit of a predicament and don’t know which way to turn. My name is Maria and I have fallen in love with a married man. As if that isn’t enough, I’m pregnant with his child. Please don’t be too quick to judge me, we really can’t help who we fall for, it happened, it’s happening and I don’t think it’s going to stop.

I wish I could tell you more but the man’s wife is a TV star (I’m sure you’ll know her). She hardly acknowledges her husband, it’s like he’s invisible so I guess he came to me for solace. Now, at forty-nine years old I’m pregnant with his child but I don’t know whether to have the child or not…? Please advise me.

What are people saying about FIFTY?
“Cinema 2 at the Ritzy in Brixton was sold out and the audience LOVED it. It’s celebratory of Lagos, strong women and African success. It’s not high art, it’s popular entertainment that shows people and places in one of the fastest growing economies in a refreshing new light.”

– Jane Mote, Interim VP Content and Creative at Turner Broadcasting Systems EMEA
“Thanks again for the invitation to see FIFTY.  It was an amazing film – the music, costumes, story, the elegance with which the plot was delivered. I loved it”

Ojoma Ochai, Director, British Council
“I attended the Leicester square premier which I thoroughly enjoyed. These occasions for Africans in the mainstream are rare. I found the film entertaining and feel that it will be an unquestionable box office hit amongst its audience.”

Nadia Denton, Film Industry Specialist, Publicist and Author of The Nigerian Filmmaker’s Guide to Success
“Nigerians can look forward to a big treat when FIFTY, a new film by EbonyLife Films hits the cinemas nationwide from December 18, 2015. We were all highly impressed and full of praises after the media screening yesterday evening in Lagos. Kudos to my sister Mo Abudu and the entire cast and crew of FIFTY.”
