The 5^th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) kicked off last night – Sunday, 8^th November 2015 with an opening ceremony at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, The Palms, Lekki.

The African premiere of Jonas Carpignano’s ‘Mediterranea’ held during the opening night followed by a Jazz reception at the Maison Fahrenheit.

The event was star-studded and stars like Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Ruth Kadiri, OC Ukeje, Hilda Dokubo, Toni Tones, Kiki Omeili, Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Ramsey Nouah and many more were spotted.

The festival will run through Sunday, 15^th November and you can get more information about the films that will be screened as well as the judges here.
