Boko Haram: Borno Schools To Re-Open Monday After Closing Down In March

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima while receiving Rolf Ree, the Norwegian Ambassador in Nigeria in his office in Maiduguri yesterday said public secondary schools in the state, which were shut down since March 2013, would re-open for academic activities next Monday. He however noted that only day schools will resume.

“As from Monday, academic activities will commence in earnest in all day secondary schools across the state. Very soon, we will make effort to re-open all the boarding schools too,” the Governor said.
