part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) thrust, Nigeria’s
leading premium cooking oil brand – Power Oil has partnered with Rhodium
Chef Global LLC on the season 2 of making of the Chef Nigeria reality
cooking competition.
Power
Oil is the leading healthy premium cooking oil brand endorsed by the
Nigerian Heart Foundation, produced by Raffles Oil LFTZ Enterprise and
also distributed by Multi Pro Enterprise Limited, subsidiaries of the

Speaking on
the sponsorship, the Head of Public Relations& Event, Tolaram Group, Mr.
Tope Ashiwaju noted that Power Oil is proud to partner with Rhodium Chef Global
on the season 2 of the Making of the Chef competition to empower your young
Nigerians to becoming world class Chefs.
Ashiwaju
noted that the brand was particularly impressed with the opportunity to train
successful participants in the competition at Stratford University, USA which
is in line with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focusof Tolaram Group
to empower Nigerians in different field of endeavor.
He added

Making of the Chef realitycooking competition as there is no better cooking oil

Also
commenting on the partnership with Power Oil, the creator of the project and
Creative Director, Rhodium Chef Global, Mrs. IdonoGbenro commended Tolaram
Group for supporting the initiative to identify, educate and empower young
Nigerians who aspire to venture into culinary arts.
Gbenro
explained that audition for the season 2 of the competition will commence
between Wednesday, October 21 and Saturday 24, 2015 simultaneously in Lagos,PortHarcourt
and Abuja in which 20 aspiring chefs would be shortlisted from an entry of
regular people from all walks of life in Nigeria.
She noted
that successful candidates from the three venues of the auditions will have the
rare opportunity of learning and mentorship of American Master Chef Edwin
Sholly, one of the world’s
leading celebrity Chef, a former chef to America’s past Presidents including
George W. Bush (Snr), George Bush (Jnr) Bill Clinton and Obama during his first
term in office.
Gbenro also revealed that the vision of the project is to groom young
Nigerians, educate them and add glamour to their lives by making them certified
Chefs with experience in international cuisine to ensure that Nigerians can
raise their head up high as Master chefs in leading hotels and restaurants.
She further disclosed that the winner of the competition would win up to
30,000 dollars in prize including receiving a membership from the prestigious American
Culinary Federation.
