The first time we showcased Nigerian womenswear brand Omilua, was with their debut collection – ‘Ibeji‘,
and after that we had the ‘Dream’ collection earlier this year. After
those collections and the response they got, we knew the brand had
something good.
At Day 1 of the Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week,
we not only got to see how pieces from the fashion brand’s “Dream”
collection look on the runway, but we also got fresh new pieces that
seem to stem from the same collection.
Creative Director, Jumoke Ademilua,
presented ruffled accents, fun adire skirts, dresses and tops, ad we
loved the fact that models rocked floral-themed head pieces. It adds to
the overall girly and ethereal-traditional vibe of the entire
collection.
