DG of Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, Emeka Mba, arrested by EFCC

The Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission NBC has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over an alleged N15 billion fraud.

According to Premium Times, sources at the antigraft agency say Mba is alleged to have conspired with some top directors to defraud the agency. EFCC stormed NBC last week and took away staff in the Finance and Account unit. During interrogation, they implicated their boss, Mba. He was arrested this morning and is currently being questioned by the EFCC operatives.
